Can I delete a file?

A file can be deleted if it hasn’t been converted to a drawing.

Here’s how it goes:

1. Log into web.edcontrols.com;
2. Select the relevant project;
3. Click on the Library tab;
4. Search for the correct file;
5. Move the mouse over the file name;
6. In the menu that appears, select ‘Delete’;
7. In the pop-up, confirm that you really do want to delete the file;
8. The system will now delete the file.

Please note: With some files, you may have to click on ‘More options’ before you can delete them.

Please note: The delete option is not available for archived files.

Note: Drawings cannot be deleted. Drawings can only be archived.
