How do I add a photo to an audit question?

It is possible to add an attachment to an audit question. An attachment can be a photo and/or a document. This attachment is not linked to a location on a drawing and therefore not a ticket.

Adding an attachment to an audit question goes as follows:

  1. Sign in;
  2. Open the desired project;
  3. Go to the audits tab;
  4. Tap an audit to open it or start a new audit;
  5. Find the right question in the audit;
  6. Click on the plus (+) sign below the question;
  7. Choose whether to take a photo or add an attachment from your mobile device;
  8. Confirm the picture taken or the selection made;
  9. The attachment(s) are now listed with the audit question;
  10. Click save to apply the changes.
  1. Log in via web.edcontrols.com;
  2. Open the desired project;
  3. Go to the Audits tab;
  4. Click on the relevant audit to open it, or create a new audit;
  5. Find the right question in the audit;
  6. Click on the plus (+) sign below the question;
  7. Now select the attachment(s) you want to add and confirm your choice;
  8. The attachment(s) are now listed with the audit question;
  9. Click save to apply the changes.

Please note An attachment for an audit question can be one of the following file types; PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF, XLS, XLSX, DOC, DOCX.

Tip: Adding a single photo to an audit question cannot be required. However, by asking the right question, it is possible to steer towards this action.
